Happy First Day of May!!!
I don't know if anyone else noticed, but it is already the beginning of a new month. It was a beautiful day here in Florida. The sun was shining, the grass was green, the sky was blue, the air was humid......ok, so maybe that one doesn't really fit there, but you get the idea.
So I haven't taken anymore pictures, but before you get to disappointed, I might have found another source. Mom has been taking a lot of pictures and I'm sure I can find some for the blog. Until then, here's an update for today.
Today we went to Faith Reformed Baptist Church. It's the church that Grandma and Grandpa and Uncle Jimmy go to. Uncle Jimmy and Aunt TJ were actually at a dog show today, so they didn't come. Oh, about dogs, Aunt TJ gave Tasha a beautiful haircut. I think she called it something like a modern with ears and tail, or something like that. Anyway, the dog looks wonderful now. For the last like two days, since she got her haircut, Tasha has been limping really bad, but today she was all better. We don't know exactly what was wrong with her foot, but we're glad she's better now.
After the church service, there was a fellowship meal that we stayed for. We met a few people including Avery and Micah. I'm not sure what either of their last names are, but Avery is 21 and Micah is 8. Anyway, they were nice, especially Micah, though. He was so cute and funny. He had to find our all of our names, then our birthdays, and then even our middle names.
Ok, so after that, we went home and played Mexican Train. And shockingly enough, I won! I have never won Mexican Train in my entire life, so it was exciting for me when I looked at the score sheet.
After evening church, we went over to the Jarvis's house. The Jarvis family is from the church that Grandma and Grandpa go to. Christianna, Lydia, Deborah, and I played an extension to Settlers of Catan called Cities and Knights with Katelyn and Isaac. They are the only two Jarvis kids still at home. Moriah had a really bad headache so she stayed home with Grandma. Isaac won the game and his family seemed really surprised at that. Anyway, I got to meet some new people, fellowship with some friends, and learn how to play a game that I thought I already knew. All together, today was a good day.
I hope you all have (had) a wonderful first day of May.
I'm pretty sure that Avery and Micah weren't the only people that we met, but they were probably the only ones worth mentioning, right? ;)
