    Happy Birthday to my absolutely amazing Mom!
Mom has been and will continue to be one of the most influential people in my life. She taught me that history and learning about history will be an immense help in viewing present times, and in looking to the future. She also taught me to love roadtrips and stopping at museums, welcome centers, and random historical sites all along the road. Today, my favorite time of year is the annual roadtrip to Florida. Although I really do enjoy seeing the family, the roadtrip itself is definitely one of the best parts of the entire vacation. I love watching the scenery change, looking down off a bridge into the Potomac river, and taking pictures of everything that catches my eye (and later deleting dozens of them). Mom taught me about all these things, as well as other, more important aspects of life. I am so thankful to God for creating such an amazing mom and causing me to be one of her daughters.
