Flying over the different landscapes all the way from New Hampshire to Utah was a wonderful adventure. Mom and I enjoyed watching from the airplane windows as we flew over the Great Lakes, Niagara Falls, and eventually, the Great Salt Lake. After arriving, Nathanael and Jesharelah filled our time with exploring Salt Lake City, the Great Salt Lake, as well as some other local areas. First off, a scene from...well, this one's obvious. Moving on, we have various shots of the state capital building.
Meleia is quite the character, always striking a pose for a picture. |
The building is incredibly ornate with tall arching ceilings! Dad looks so tiny down there. |
These last three pictures might need some explanation. #1 is the elevator. #2 is part of one of the doors. #3 stories written in Braille.
Visiting the capital building was quite interesting. The architecture on both the interior and exterior was so beautiful and amazing. If you look carefully at the pictures, it would appear that Utah has a thing for beehives. Several of my photos show images of them, either as sculptures or engravings. In my humble opinion, the outside of the capital building is more intriguing than the inside.
