July 4th
The Galla's house front and back.
Here Emma is. She is trying to feed herself, but each time she gets food on her spoon, she turns it (the spoon) sideways to get into her mouth. This action causes all the food to slide off her spoon down her front.
My lovely hot chocolate.
Don't laugh about this. Try to sympathize. You see, apparently Rebecca and Chris left their kitchen broom back at their old house along with their dustpan and a few other objects of no consequence right now. They brought this broom along with them and a bunch of paper plates. I was creative and decided, instead of sweeping everything into a pile and leave it there, I would use a paper plate. You probably wont be able to sympathize until you try this out for yourself. Use a no-good broom with a really flimsy paper plate, and then try and get all of the dust (or anything else) onto it.
After Emma realized that these cabinet doors actually opened, and that they were completely empty, she began hiding in them and kept it up for about 20 min.
The obvious is going on.
This is what the piano looked like. Oh, this was before we found out that the pedals don't work very well, about 5 keys play weirdly if at all, and the lid won't shut. As you can guess, Rebecca was extremely disappointed.
The rest of the room.
Upstairs,
And downstairs,
(looking down the hallway at the bathroom.)
And in my lady's chamber.
The bathroom.
Looking out of the girls' room window.
Mr. Fogel.
Beautiful view of the mountains, also from the girls' room window.
The slightly more organized garage.
I'm on the outside, lookin in.
While driving, we saw this white stone thingy beside the mountains. Rebecca says that it's called the Elephant Rock. It reminds me of the Devil's Tower.
Looking through the windshield.
Stores you see in the east...
And stores that are not so much see in the east.
Forth of July, anyone?!
Apparently it is illegal for private persons to do fireworks in Colorado Springs. I guess it's a good thing Rebecca lives in Monument.
First part of the word.
And second part of the word.
Red, white, and blur.
At the end of the day, the Gallas went upstairs to their rooms and Mom and I had gone downstairs to our room. Mom asked me to go get something for her that was in the kitchen. When I went up there, I saw some of our neighbors doing fireworks. Now I can say that I didn't miss the Forth of July fireworks.
Love the way Emma eats! Oh, and I'm so glad we were able to see various angles of the bathroom! That was the best part!. :) Is Abigail sleeping in the same room with you?
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for commenting. And NO Abigail is NOT sleeping in the same room as me. Absolutely not. Mom and I get the downstairs all to ourselves. I know, that's luxury.
