Moving to Colorado Part 4 June 30

Happy Last Day everybody!
On the last day of June in 2015...
Around the time that Rebecca, Mom, and I were eating breakfast, I called the girls at home and talked to them for like an hour or so. It was fun, especially, as you know, I hadn't spoken to them since Saturday.

We were staying at this hotel that morning.

A little while after we left the hotel, we were stopped at a red light and this car pulled up beside us. They really don't like republicans.

While we were on the highway we passed this massive white cross.

This was on the back of a motor-home like vehicle.

Hello Missouri!

At the Missouri welcome center.

Mom was very interested in the places where you can see miles of road winding out in front of you into the distance. And while this isn't quite that, it still shows a little of the idea.

Mom told me that most of the pictures that I was taking were of cars. She wanted me to take some of scenery, old barns, bill-boards, the road stretch so far in front of us, and other things like that.

We stopped at a gas station for a to go to the bathroom, and while every one was inside, I saw this cool car outside. I like!

Just as we were passing a sign that said we were nearing the town of Emma, I told Mom that she should take a picture of Emma. I meant the sign, but she apparently thought that I meant Emma.

And she didn't want to miss out on Jonathan either.

Everybody knows that Independence is the place where the caravans of pioneers would meet up before they would go any further out west.

Kansas City, everyone!

Hello Virginia!
I did not mean to say that but what is written is written!
Welcome to Kansas!

We stayed in this hotel in Topeka.

Some lovely flowers out side our windows.

Mom and I went for a walk across the river and through the woods. Wrong! We walked to a gas station that was next to the hotel and got ourselves a like dessert.

Mom got a picture of me. Not obvious at all, peoples.

And that really sums up the day. After the ice cream, we came back to the hotel, watched a police car pull over a little black car, and then pretty much relaxed from there.
