July 3rd
After a leisurely breakfast, everybody got in the cars and drove the 20-30 minutes to Rebecca and Chris's new house. On the drive, I saw many things, but this is one that I got a picture of. The Air Force Academy stadium.
(all of these are on the top floor, unless otherwise posted.)
This would be the master bedroom after we brought some of the essentials up.
The only room in the house with a ceiling fan. |
Rebecca's closet is hiding behind the mattress.
The master bedroom has its own bathroom.
Chris's closet is opposite the sinks.
And if you take a few steps to the left, you will come to the facilities.
Moving on...
the children's bathroom is the next door.
Nice big mirror. |
The boys room is next.
And the girls room.
The linen closet. (it's on the right in the picture.) |
Past the linen closet is the stairs that lead downstairs.
This closet, as you can see, is right next to the stairs that go up to all the bedrooms that have already been discussed.
And now we come to the kitchen.
And there's those stairs that lead up to the bedrooms. The area past Brian's closet is the entrance area. (with Jonathan asleep on the floor.)
And then there's the living room.(viewed from on the stairs.)
This doorway is leading to three different directions.
1. The Bathroom-Laundry Room. (you can see the door in the picture above.)
Across from the bathroom side of the room is the laundry room.
On going into the bathroom, and facing the sink, this cabinet is on your left-hand side. It's right beside the door.
2. The Basement (it is opposite the bathroom and includes the guest room, the bathroom, and the wide open space.)
3. The Garage and the wide Outdoors.
(looking from the living room.)
What's up with the dark lighting?! It's all in the middle of the day. |
The messy,
Messy,
(those are the steps from the house into the garage.) |
Garage.
And that pretty much concludes the tour of the house...unless you really wanted to see the basement. In which case, too bad, you'll have to pay for that with comments. But I will give you a few extra random pictures.
Jonathan climbed into the cabinet, but apparently it didn't suit him, so out he comes.
Myself organizing hangers that came out of a large trash bag. (the trash bag part was to show you that there were a LOT of hangers.)
EVERYONE, Emma's making faces at me!
And the sun came out and dried up all the rain,
And we saw a double rainbow...
Please tell me you DID see the second rainbow in the picture.
Oh, and there's Emma. She just fell off an unstable chair because she was leaning on the back of it.
And I should probably end with the rainbow. That just seems right.
This is Dad and I thoroughly enjoyed the detailed tour. I'll take that tour to the basement if you please.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for commenting. Not many people do that these days.
ReplyDeleteAnd about that tour of the basement.....coming right up, sir.
This tour explained a lot about the layout of the house. Thanks! Oh, and I did see the double rainbow in the first picture you posted. Not as much in the other ones, but definitely in the first.
ReplyDeleteThanks for commenting. I'm glad you got to see the double rainbow. I wasn't sure that people would be able to.
