In Colorado Part 3 Garden of the Gods

All of these pictures were taken with Mom's camera.

That was funny! (don't ask what.)

Welcome to you, oh people, nations, and languages!

Oh, and this. Funny story, actually. You see, some man found a fossilized skull. (technically, it wasn't even a full skull. a lot of it was missing.) And all of the 'scientists' decided to create a whole new species of dinosaurs that died somehow or other. Chris and I thought that it was quite humorous how they created the dinosaur in the picture below from part of a skull.

Now this is more to my liking. This wall was full of glass boxes with real but now dead and stuffed animals. And I thought that bald eagles were like on the endangered species list.

They had curious restrooms here. I don't know if you can read what it says, I didn't, but it's still an interesting restroom sign.

The story of the Garden of the Gods.

Isn't that beautiful.

These pictures are taken from the welcome center.

These are some of the rock formations that are the Garden of the Gods.

This is not part of the Garden of the Gods.

Now, as you can plainly see, we are on the road.

Mom really liked this formation. She said that it looked like two birds touching or something.

Something interesting, this white rock formation is right in front of an extremely red rock formation.

A good friend told me that I should have pictures of myself. So, here you go, Rebecca.

Abigail and Stephen were cold. I think Chris really enjoyed it, though.

As we were driving by, we noticed this rock formation. We thought that it looked like a fish.

At this point, we came to a place where you can pull over. Mom got out and took pictures.

One thing that Mom really, really wanted to see was the Balanced rock, or the Unbalanced Rock. When we were coming up to the road that turns off to see that, we turned the wrong way. So we drove through it again.
Oh, the funny thing about this picture. As soon as I saw it, I thought "really, they have a Maine parking lot?! Where's New Hampshire's parking lot?" Rebecca said the e a t the end of Maine must of dropped off the sign.

Here it is!!!!

Mom had Abigail, Stephen, and myself 'climb' up the rock formation to get a picture by the Unbalanced Rock. She wanted to come up too, but the rock looked really slippery. I went looking for a way for her to come up, but never found one.

The three of us had to wait in a line of people to get their pictures by the rock.

At first Stephen was standing beside Abigail.

But then I think he got cold or something.

Abigail enjoyed it, but I'm not so sure about Stephen.

On our way down, Mom decided to get a picture of Abigail and Rebecca in front of the Unbalanced Rock.

Then we went Bye Bye.
