July 5, Sunday.
The view while driving to church.
Welcome sign to Colorado Springs.
Hello again, to the Air Force Academy Stadium.
This is not the Stadium, but it does have something or other to do with the Academy.
Oh the mountains.
In the picture below, you see a mine, or what is a mine of the past.
...I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
My help cometh from the Lord which made heaven and earth.
Look at the beautiful blue sky with the mountains lining the horizon.
On the way to church, I saw this cloud. It had the shape of a tornado. You know how tornadoes are funnel-shaped. I couldn't really get it in the picture. Still, you may be able to see it.
Funny thing, the Galla's cars are the only cars with Connecticut license plates.
On the way back from church, Jonathan kind of dozed off. Truth, he actually more than dozed off.
I've told a few people about this car, so here's a picture of it. It is the first Jaguar car I have ever seen.
This would be the only really dirty car that I have seen since being out west.
I'm not sure what this ground formation is, but it was interesting, so you have my permission to look at it.
Apparently, this house didn't get the memo that it's not longer 4th of July!
All of the children went outside to play, and Mom went with them and took the following pictures.
Isn't that just beautiful?!
This is a fitting end to this post. The sky is darkening and people are tired. I hope everyone enjoyed this. And feel free to comment.
It was only a day after the 4th, so they should have a little leeway with taking their decorations down. It's fun reading your commentary. I almost forgot to check your blog because you hadn't been reminding me. ;)
